Whether you are applying for jobs or polishing your latest novel,
a little feedback and support can make all the difference.
Hi, I'm Belinda
...you can call me Belle.

I hold a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies (2019–2021) and a BA double major in English and Psychology (2013–2017) from the University of Alberta.
I currently work for the University of Alberta as a Strategic Initiatives Coordinator for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. I am also a dancer and performer in my spare time.
I live in Edmonton (amiskwaciy-wâskahikan) with my husband and our three pet rabbits.

In 2018 I splurged on a proofreading course to equip myself with the necessary skills and knowledge to offer the best services I could provide. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working on a variety of projects ranging from personal memoirs to dissertations to award applications. I have had several satisfied clients who have recommended my services to their friends and colleagues, which allowed my little business to gain some traction through word-of-mouth advertising. Ultimately, my side-hustle is what allowed me to build the credibility and professional network to secure my current full-time job.
I sincerely enjoy editing, and I am passionate about clear and powerful writing. Given that many of my clients are on a student budget, I offer prices on a sliding scale and strive to keep my rates affordable.
If you'd like to inquire about my services, please get in touch.
I look forward to chatting with you!
- Belle (she/her)
